Good evening all.

I'm popping over to Cadwell on the 25th and, as it will be my first time there, was curious as to the availabity of fuel, camping sites and a good local pub for food and after driving activities. Does anyone know if you are allowed to take photos from the pit wall?

Cheers,

Pete

There is fuel on site, but oyur better off driving into Louth for it. There is a Shell station with optimax too.

Not sure about local pubs etc, but there are plenty in Louth, not having been to any I can't give any recomendations though.

They don't really have a pit wall, sounds daft if you are used to Brands and Silverstone but it will make sense when you get there biggrin. Plenty of good places to take photos from though.

You may be able to camp on site if you want to, best check with the circuit and they should also be able to recommend decent local B&Bs.

More info HERE.

Have fun, it's an awesome venue!

Thanks for the quick responses. I'm very much looking forward to driving the track but keeping my hopes up for no more snow.

As someone else said there is fuel on site.

Fantastic circuit and plenty of places to take pics.

This may get you excited, little video of my trip last year and will show you some of the places for pics too.

You can camp onsite, there are showers and toilets, but that's about it. Louth is only 15mins away. I usually camp during the summer and B&B it during the winter. If you B&B it, Keddington House is good, about £60 B&B for two a night, plus plenty of parking

Once again thanks for the replies. I'll be staying with friends in Sheffield the evening before so accommodation is all sorted. I really cannot wait to get on track now.

Cheers,

Pete

Fabulous circuit, really loved my one visit there. Will definitely go again.

In terms of fuel if you turn right out of the circuit a few miles down the road, somewhat hidden behind some large overgrown trees on the left is the most extraordinary petrol station it has ever been my pleasure to visit. I was expecting duelling banjos at any moment. It simply has to be experienced.

Do they still set the fuel prices as if the supply of oil has just been exhausted? hehe

Did you go in the end? I popped along with my camera for an hour or so. I might have a picture of your car, they are nowhere near as good as tertius's further up, but if I have any you are welcome to them. (same for anyone else who went)

The very same.

Watching him lever himself into and then out of the Elise provided excellent entertainment for a small but very appreciative crowd. smile

Was a good day in the end. Was annoyed at the start because it looked like it could have been called off. Think I had 2 good runs in the last hour when the track was pretty much dry the hole way round and a lot of people had left by then.

I definatly should have bought some decent rubber! Had a nice big off at the top of the hill in my first couple of laps.

I was in the yellow 205 rallye and my mate was in the multi-coloured mini. If anyone had any pics please let me know smile

Hope everyone else had a good day

Hi Adam. I thought I recognised the yellow rallye from PH. I was in the grey M3 and my friend was in the ITR. The day turned out pretty well in the end. I'll check with my friend to see if he took any pictures or video of your cars.

Thanks to all for all the information and advice. Cadwell is, without doubt, my new favortie circuit.
