A friend and I are planning a trip to the ring over the easter weekend, and I'm just sorting through all the paperwork and making sure we have everything we need for the journey (Did you know it's law in Belgium that you must have a fire extinguisher in the car at all times?).

Looking at my insurance policy, with Bell, it specifically excludes "use on the Nurburgring Nordschleife"

Are there any Uk insurance companies that do not have this clause? I'm going to have to cancel my policy, and go elsewhere.

You'll be lucky, any mainstream insurers that do not specifically exclude it will probably try to argue it. I reckon that the majority of UK plated cars on the ring are 'uninsured'.

There are some specialist Ring sites that give UK Insurance advice.

The ones I've found don't mention which insurance companies are ok though.

Think it's a case of since there are now so few insurers that cover you at the ring, we won't bother keeping a list.

I have my cars insured with these guys but it's only third party for TF, still better than no cover at all.
