thought on this for a track car?
Discussion
any idea how good these are for track cars looking to get back in the saddle
just wondered if anyone has experience of them costs repairs if they make good track cars and if this one looks ok

Sounds like a well thought out conversion. The addition of non-standard parts and forced induction might make sourcing parts and maintaining it more difficult than usual, but shouldn't be too bad. Chassis-wise it already has most of the bits that you might later be tempted to bolt on, which is good as a track car.

It could be brilliant...

Looks like a great base for a track project.
The cynic in me, however, is suspicious of aftermarket engine tuning that might well last well on a magazine road test, a dyno session, or for daily road use limited to the occasional full throttle "whoosh", yet might struggle with overheating over periods of high temperature track usage.
