Its my birthday Friday so a good reason to take a day off. I'll take a run up for an afternoon slot.

Abingdon does get frustrating though with slow beginners and red flags.

I'll be in a striped out toyota celica. There might be a couple of Nissan turbo's as well if they fancy a blast.

I think I pissed off one of the marshals on the chicane, 60mph was okay but 70mph took out a line of cones. He kept waving a yellow flag at me after that ?

Had a passenger ride in the BMW CSL, impressive stuff, Nick certainly knows how to slide it around. If I had the money a CSL track car to go with my M3 road car would be an ideal setup. I'll have a look and see if there are any cheap ones on autotrader.

Sold the 7, I was there in the White 968 Club Sport in the morning, your car was going well is the diff leaking or just venting, l/h circuits normally make them throw loads out the std short vent pipe

It never ceases to amaze me how quick some cars are, to the guy in the blue Honda, can't believe there wasn't much in our laps, just goes to show!

Brilliant weather, good organisers and no idiots on the track...

F355GTS, oh, thanks for the heads up... I only had a cursory glance underneath last night, didn't know they vent.... Is a 'top up' required? Your 968cs was bloody gorgeous, bet it wasn't easy finding one that nice!

Nah, I did the same sort of thing at the chicane a while back (re-arranged the cones to get a faster entry) & he black flagged me for it

we were there in out new trackday car! the saloon M3 evo looking like it was a 4x4 after we stripped it out! Not a bad car though at all!
