I may go gav if my new engine is fitted. I will need to give it a run before my next race.

How much is it?

Thats expensive.

Got a new 3.2 evo lump thats going in at the moment. Fitting the old carbon box and having a re-map so hope to get around the 320bhp. Would have liked to have done the cams at the same time but too much money. Hopefully be back racing at Brands in June in the Eurosaloons.

Well, I have to say I thought that yesterday was the best run trackday I've done in a while. Sensible marshalling and well run - although perhaps the briefing did drag on a little.

Well done chaps thumbup

I agree.

A few Red flags, but all sorted out very quickly. Seems like a black e30 BMW caused two red flags, each time because a wheel fell off. Not sure what was going on there!

I thought the marshals did a very good job with blue flags too.

Yeah, that was a bit unlucky.

(I was the guy you spoke to a couple of garages down with the silver e46 M3)

Agree there, good marshals, very well put together, and a lot of good track discipline from the guys on track.

That White R8 was loud, good to see it finally passed the noise test lol

I was driving the Grey RS4, I love brands, good circuit.

My friend and I loved your car. We both agreed it was the best sounding vehicle of the whole day. Is it an after market exhaust?

I've just been watching some of the videos I took, and was on track with you quite a bit. (A few laps of me trying to chase you down) I'll upload a 10 minute clip onto youtube, and post the link up when it's done.

Thanks mate, It has a Full Milltek system with 200cell cats and free flow down pipes, I was faffing around with tyre pressers all day trying to get them exact, was struggling at Druids, was loosing time there. 100+ Laps on the Eagle F1s seemed to hold up pretty well considering lol

Cant wait to see the vid. cheeRS

Well I've managed to get a video uploaded.

It shows your RS4 Sonny, that R8 Spyder, and there's also that big old Jag race car, which spins in front of me at Druids towards the end of the video.

It didn't! He did something at lunch to try to quieten it down, but it still failed the test - they let him out with the comment of "don't blame me if you get black-flagged" thumbup

Good footage, (shows my balls up at 1.59 at Surtees lol), good driving there fella, Your being able to brake later in the corners than me, shows the break up grade works (whats the weight of your car?).

The R8 was a V8 variant, not the Spyder/V10.

LOL, yeah I did notice you went a bit wide there!

The brakes make a massive difference on track, as much in confidence as actual braking ability.

My M3 is probably about as heavy as one can get. It's pretty much top spec (fully electric heated seats, sat nav, SMG etc) so you can add a few kilos to the figure of 1584kg I've seen on the net. (http://www.germancarforum.com/test-data/6486-kerbweight-thread-fully-loaded.html)

I had a passenger for 90% of my runs too, which obviously doesn't help.

I can't imagine your RS4 is light either though?
