Has anyone ever used "Traction Days" (http://www.tractiondays.co.uk/) before or have any experience of them as a track day company?
I've not heard of them and they seem quite expensive and although the cost may be balanced by very low numbers I would be reluctant to pay up and then lose my money!
Cheers

I absolutely relate to their business model.
Ultra-exclusive Track Days for those discerning and minted drivers who want to enjoy their favourite circuits in as much safety and luxury as is reasonably possible to arrange.
I've been to the Brands Indy and paid a third of what they're charging. And I got about a third of the track time and was mixing in with a very full track as I was doing it.
If you've got the money to burn it's probably the safest way to take your supercar on-track.

I was at Mallory for their first track day last weekend. Very relaxed and very few cars there. Not only no queuing but track as clear as if it was your own trackday with your friends. Well behaved drivers and good standard of driving by all.
They seem to be going for the top end of market and as a new TDO it is possibly a big decision. I have had e-mail contact with them since I did the trackday to give feedback of how I felt the day went and how things could be improved from a customers point of view and they responded quickly and took onboard my comments. So far so good and I may use them again but as you say some events can be had at a 1/3 of the price. I have been on Brands Indy days where I was lucky to get 2 clear laps strung together and it felt expensive even though it was a cheep day in actual pounds spent.
Pay your money and take your choice

What he said, I was with Rex and had a great time, 20 cars there on the day. They seem to be going for the top end of market and as a new TDO it is possibly a big decision. ive just booked on brands hatch 10th junw after very high recommendation from a friend of mine. cant stand queuing on "open pit lane" track days or squeezing thru to overtake, so limit of 20 cars is a welcome change.. so was the 10% discount code
let me know who else is coming and ill hopefully see you there, mark
