Right guys and gals, hoping a few of you can help me out with general opinions, or even past experiences. (Not aware if this kind of thread pops up on a regular basis or not)
I'm in the market for a new helmet, mainly for track days and bits of karting. Full Face. Got a limited budget of upto around £350 - £400. Been looking at Various Arai's, Bell's etc. But came across the "V2 PRO" (www.v2sport.com) and wondered, for such a low price, is it not good? All the helmets have to be approved, and seeing as this one is, being a typical brit
- Is it a safe bet spending such a little amount of money on such a vital piece of protection...

If I throw http://www.hedtec.co.uk/ into the mix that will not help at all!I'm in the market for a new helmet, mainly for track days and bits of karting. Full Face. I'd buy a v2/hedtec. But I don't do all that many days a year.
IMO you really need to try them and see what fits your head, rather than just picking one on brand/loks/price.
I need a helmet for work - default choice generally in the company is Arai, but after trying various models in their range it appears I just don't have an Arai-shaped head, so I got a Schuberth instead. Also had Shoei in the past too, that was pretty comfy, but the Schuberth is leagues ahead in terms of quietness.

I bought one of these http://www.racelidz.co.uk/products.htm from plays kool at the autosport show.
The sizes are a bit on the small size, I was a small in my previous lid but needed a medium.

They have a few of these in gloss black at present (normally a special edition). Just bought one for future events
They are low in stock for other sizes due to volcanic transport issues.

GPR also do some of the RZ budget Snell helmets RZ860 Full Face Race Helmet
Not literally, but theyre all generic Chinese lids, from (what I suspect to be) the same factory. Im familiar with the manufacturer, although Im not going to post a link to their site, as others doing so have ruffled feathers. I realise that you have to buy five hundred pieces, but others are making a profit at £130...
