Brands GP 27 May - Bookatrack - thumbs up
Discussion
Just wanted to say, firstly what a brilliant day it turned out to be today at Brands GP with BaT. Wet in the morning but dry and sunny in the afternoon.
Secondly, many apologies for causing my first ever red flag - out-braked myself into Stirlings and left my splitter in the gravel trap ...
And thirdly, that although there were plenty of red flags, I was really impressed at how quickly the marshalls managed to clear the circuit and get things running again ...

Yes, it was a good day and the reds were quickly dealt with. I was involved in what I think was the last one of the day when the left rear brake caliper exploded on my clients Elise Trophy racecar on the way into Paddock and sent us into the barrier. Thankfully Mr Palmer did not economise on the gravel there and most of the speed had been taken off by the time we hit.
Really wish I'd fitted the heart rate monitor to our DL1 data-logger now, would have made interesting viewing.
