A pal pointed me to www.trackdaylist.com this week.

It looks like a pretty good source of track day info, any thoughts from the PH massive?

I have been looking for this for the last week!

Someone else put a link up for it (im sure it was on PH somewere) and asked for feedback.

Think the site is a great idea and I love the amount of filters that can be used on the search.

Im seriously thinking of designing a track day site (with apps for phones) in a modern style with profiles.. Think a very very simple facebooks style, that you can see whos going, what days are on, and links.

I will start fleshing this idea out i think.. Could be my ticket to riches.

Why not take advantage of Facebook's popularity and write a Facebook app to do it?

Actually. Don't. It's a horrible idea. It'll never take off. whistle

I did actually think about that, I could use there API, but i think it will just get polluted and not look clean.. I think clean and simple is the way to go.

Im mean more a social networking site, more user focused on the end user, than the actual days..

www.trackdaylist.com is a great idea, and works well here, but one immediate problem is that it's showing spaces where the venue is sold out (Oulton 15th June, for example). Not sure how easy it is to keep this very up to date though, probably not very easy at all....

It's my site... it is being kept pretty up to date so Oulton shows as sold out now. If you notice any errors please let me know!

edb49: Great site, a small request / idea if I may presume? How about an easy way to print off upcoming dates in a printer friendly version of the data? Thanks.
