Hi

Just thought I would let everybody know of an upcoming trackday at Knockhill Racing Circuit on the 15th july 2010 run by Livingston Autoparts.
I was in today collecting parts and the boys were telling me all abut the event.

More information will be posted on their website within the next few days.
http://www.livingstonautoparts.co.uk

Basically,
its an open pit lane event all day from 9.00-5.00pm
with breakfast and lunch included for all drivers taking part.

Some suppliers in attendance with a trophy presentation for best driver and best modified car.

cheers

hope to see you there.

I`d happily pay that for an OPL at Knockhill without all the idiots we`ve all seen on Youtube driving.... Unfortunately I can`t make that date, but if there are any others, please feel free to share them !

we're there on Tuesday 31st August (the day after the Bank Holiday) and are making a double-header of it with Croft on the Monday. We're not cheap either at £195 for the day, but currently only half a dozen cars booked up so it's going to be a nice quiet day whatever happens!

It does seem that there's just not a market for high-end days at Knockhill - unless i've missed something.

Think you've missed something then wink

SIDC/MLR, Dreadnought, ADMC, Scottish Elises, Trackscotland, FOC, GMSC, RSOC heck even Hot Marques. There's at least six a month through the rest of summer tailing off into October. They range from 2hour evening sessions to full days.

No need to take to track with the demolition derby style chavs...

Jonny, I rang you when I saw your event, if I wasn`t doing Anglesey the day before, I`d have done Knockhill.

Its a too far to go for an evening session, I`ve been looking for OPL days for months and typically, 2 show up and I can`t do either...

Matt, is there a list of trackdays at Knockhill ? They don`t appear on the usual websites listing UK OPL trackdays thats all.

Hi

Firstly, to all those asking 'why the angry face' the answer is I hit the wrong icon. Was meant to be thumbs up. oops!

Really guys, I know £175 sounds like a lot of money but I was at the last event run by Livingston Autoparts and it was the best trackday event I have been at so far.

Vast selection of quality cars inc Lamborghini Murcielago, rage buggies, evos, caterhams, porsches

Everybody else that I spoke to on the day agreed and said they would be at the next event.

Remember it is an open pit lane all day, when do you ever get that at knockhill!

No cones

Breakfast and Lunch for all drivers

Trophies for best car etc

Some of their suppliers were in attendance with lots of giveaways.

Well worth the money in my opinion

Keep an eye on their new website for more info

cheers guys, hope to see you there.
