Racing/Track day boots

I'm looking to get a pair of racing/karting boots for trackdays and blats. Anyone got any cheap suggestions - I won't be racing so don't need fireproof or FIA approved but I'm struggling to find a cheap (sub£40) pair.
Anyone got a pair of the pole position boots from the raceware-ltd seller on ebay and could comment on the feel?

For track days, I use a pair of suede Addidas Samba trainers in blue, have just as much feel as my OMP race boots and dont let water in like a sinking ship!!
Think you can get them from JJB for about 30 quid ish??

Just bought a pair of these :

Arrived a couple of days ago and very happy so far, admittedly haven't yet driven in them but tried them on and appear fine and decent quality for the money - also quite like that they are pretty simple with no gaudy logos etc.
