We've booked this in with Motorsport events, anyone coming along? Had a look at track footage on youtube and it looks like a very varied track, good mix of corners!

Anyone else coming down for the day? If so, we'll be there in a very black E36!

I have Hullavinton booked for the 30th July Motorsport events. first track day in a few years as I have got my kitcar sorted, new engine and exhaust so hope for no issues with noise test now

I'll be there in my Clio 172. Never been before but going with a mate who's done it and reckons it's a decent setup.

Pending terrible fuel pressure test results later this week then I'll be there. Colerne looks quite a decent layout, the other local airfields seem a bit dull and look a bit "blat up the runway and back" with a token twisty bit.

thats what I reckon! might take us a while to find the best line with a mix of wide runway and more narrow perimeter roads. Should be a good one!

I've not done trackdays for a few years but done Colerne twice in the past. And really enjoyed it. Some very fast conrers and if they have the same layout a great left hander ideal for lightweight cars such as my kit car. Also a slow part very much like a go kart track again idea to test for handling. Out of keevil, hullavington and Colerne I enjoyed Colerne the most.

Well that was a great day. Car was everything I'd hoped and nothing I'd feared. Track was really good and managed to get loads of traffic free laps in. Good to meet you guys (even though I didn't realise it at the time!).

Had a great day, thought the track and the people running it were very good.

Great to meet those people I chatted to, nice to see a good range of cars there.

Managed to get a second degree sunburn and destroy the bearings in the nearside rear wheel but apart from that I think the Clio did very well on it's first track day.

That was probably my brother mate, he wasn't exactly holding back with the poor old 172!

I'll be taking your advice on the brakes and upgrading the front pads and fluid. Apart from the skitting around under heavy braking I don't think I'd want much more from a car for track days, really loved it.

Anyone booking up the next Colerne day? I'll be trying to make it.
