Had a good time on the slightly modified GT circuit the other week even though there were a few muppets on the track. The new hairpin near turn 8 is a definite improvment over last year, making it safer and a little more technical.

It was also good to meet a few PHers there too.

Here are some of the photos I took on the day. www.gto3.com/gallery/index.php?dir=./Bedford%2006032004

If anyone wants full size one let me know.

Ted, Just before turn 8 (armco) where there use to be the left hander, it is now a right hander followed closely into a left hairpin back onto the main straight. Removes the chances of hitting the armco if you loose it but also makes a great corner for getting the power on now.

Nice car matey, yours, that other red and white RS and the JP1 were the only cars I couldn't keep pace with. If you weren't in the other pits I would have come and said hello.

Don't sell any prints, just like driving cars and taking pictures. You can have an undoctored image if you want though (about 4Mb in size) which is good for prints up to about A3 size. Just take it to your local Jessops.

err, don't remember you coming past me either

Apart from the JP1s I didn't get overtaken all day, had a good dice with the Gallardo as well - quite funny to see the outcome of 500bhp vs 135bhp

That's the beauty of the GT circuit I suppose, light traffic.

I never got the chance to go up against the Lambo, what was your verdict of it?

the Lambo passed me in the morning when I was on a cooling down lap (honest) so I thought I'd take the opportunity to follow him for a lap or two. The verdict was I could stay with him farely easily.

Then early afternoon on a hot lap I saw him gaining on me, after a couple of laps he was behind me and I let him pass - he was flying Came to the conclusion that this must be a different driver so I think it was probably one of the instructors (or Justin Wilson). Then later in the afternoon I caught him and we had a good old dice, he was trying very hard to stay ahead of me and eventually went way off the black stuff on the 100mph right hander onto the straight past the (main) pits. After that he gave up and let me pass. I think he probably enjoy it as much as I did

I also came up behind two of the White and Red GT3s (wasn't you was it?) who seemed to be racing each other and either didn't want to break off to let me pass or were too intent on catching their mate in front to notice little me behind them, anyway it was fun watching the two of them trying very hard

Great photos on your site, could you send high res copies of the pictures of my Caterham to the email in my profile please?

cheers,
Mike.

Hi actech, would it be possible to get the picture of the Red CTR down the bottom? Let me know how.

Thanks.
