afternoon, ok imagine that you could have your car collected from home or work and taken to the ring, cars loaded and you keep hold of the keys. car is available to use at the ring for 2 full days then returned to your pick up address. you provide your own transport there.

how much would you pay??

thanks

This is the tricky bit, Nurburg isn't an easy place to get to without a car. Maybe if the car could be delivered to an airport it could be useful. Wave your car good bye on Friday, do a normal days work then fly to Frankfurt. Have 2 days on the ring then be back at your desk on Monday morning.

If the cost was comparable with hiring a car from the airport for Friday night to Sunday night you could be onto something, but you couldn't charge too much more.

Maybe offering the service for bikes would be better. Cheaper to transport, riding through Belgium is probably even more boring than driving, and you wouldn't be competing with airport hire firms.

The way it would work I think is if you were heading over with a few mates, and you drove something like, ooh, I don't know, perhaps an Elise, and didn't fancy the schlep over in your own car, but could easily grab a lift to exactly the right place with someone else.

I'd personally want a bit more flexibility than "two days".

As for how much? I'd ask Alex.
