Eh up.

Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on anywhere good to stay on Anglesey?

Two or three nights, mid week- On track on the 8th.

Been browsing tonight, Does seem quite poor value for money on the island. I don't mind spending money but I'm fked if I'll pay £100 a night for a caravan!

Cheers.

Rick.

You could do far worse than stay about 30 miles away in Llandudno.

http://www.bodysgallen.com/ Bodysgallen Hall is top notch, luxury, quiet and comfortable, and the afternoon tea is enough for 3 or 4 people. V pricey though.

The Carreg Mon is a good place. Just over the bridge at Llanfairpwllgwyngyll and about twenty five minutes from the track. www.carregmonhotel.co.uk

Nant Yr Odyn Country Hotel and Restaurant - www.nantyrodyn.co.uk - is just off the A55 at J6, only 10 - 15 minutes from the circuit ( on Google Maps... ). I've stayed there a few times with customers and always make it my first call. The owners are very pleasant, the food is good and the rooms are very nice. A single en-suite is £55 inc. breakfast, double £88.

drive past the circuit entrance and keep going for 5 minutes, you will come to a village and secondish place on left is the Prince Llwelyn (though might not be spelled quite like that).
i turned up there at 9 one evening without notice. they gave me free tea and coffee, realy good double room and great breakfast and only charged £40 or £50.

I've stayed here a few times and is one of the better places near the circuit. You will get a small discount if you mention that you have found the hotel through the circuit. I think it makes a double £80...

Spend a tenner on a tent and camp onsite - FOC yes.
