Hi,

How do most of you go about insuring for track days? I am with Adrian Flux, who seem to offer it... but only to drivers 23+ which rules me out as I'm 20.

Is there any that do trackday insurance for younger drivers, or do I just not get to play?

In addition... I may want to drive the car overseas at some point and again am unsure how I would insure for this, so any guidance would be great smile

I insured our track M3 Evo with 4 drivers (ages 26-34) and including six trackdays per year including one in Europe fully comp for £600 with competition car insurance. You don't get 3rd party cover on track so just dont hit anyone else! Pretty good price trackday cover notwithstanding

I recently did a day at Snett and covered myself for about £100 with Moris, though had a quote from another compnay (cannt recall who) who said £75, but took 3 weeks to respond, by which point the track day was in 4 days time and i'd taken the £100 option.

I'm 23 in a 1.4L 140bhp car so nothing massive.

I've heard good things about Competition-car-insurance, That's who I normally recommend if I can't help.

You probably have free EU cover with us already. You just have to call up and say where your going and ho long for etc. If you pm me your name and post code I'll check for you.
