Hi i was just wondering whether i would have a problem with my clio which is about 95db at 3/4 revs but bangs on the overun and are pretty loud, would i be kicked off at track days? i could have a different map put on but at the moment my car really likes it !

What are your thoughts?

Cheers Edd

Depends on who organises the day to be honest.... I was told at my Snet outing that the pops and bangs were bringing me up to the limit (I was measured at 103) and if they got any worse, I’d not be allowed out.
I'd say err on the side of caution and get the pops and bangs tuned out before the day if possible.
Have fun

I think they place most sound check microphones at places when you're likely to be at full throttle, so overrun unlikely to have an effect unless its a circuit with multiple monitoring points (like Silverstone)...

Exactly - you won't have a problem on the static test, and circuits with drive-by monitoring have anywhere from 3-5 monitors around the circuit, all position where you are full throttle.
