Abingdon Airfield, any good?

Hi all, just wondering if anyone has ever done a track day at Abingdon Airfield?

Was thinking about going to Castle Coombe for my first trackday, but have just found Abingdon and its much much closer, for a similar price.

Just wondered if anyones done a track day here, whats it like?

Yes, there are two very, very similar layouts MSE use only once chicane difference. I like the circuit at Abingdon, really good place to push the limits as its nice and open. I'll be there lots this year, here are a couple of videos, one in my MX5 the other in my VX220 :-

I think that S1 has a touch more than 195bhp, closer to 225bhp with its Honda motor

I was doing even better than I thought then
Was only my second trackday too..

Can't wait to do another trackday now that I've got some proper karting experience...

Definately Its a quick car that one - I felt quite after a few lap in the passenger seat.

F355GTS on here used to have a Caterham with about 275bhp (IIRC) on slicks.
That was by far the most scary passenger ride I've ever had!
