I'm about to purchase an Exige, & forgot to check if I can fit in ok with a helmet on. I'm 6 foot in height, & average build. Do you reckon I'll be ok??

I think you should be ok because I can (just) get in one and once in thought there was quite a bit of head room as you sit low down, I'm 6`2"
You'll be better in a Cerbera laugh

Cheers Kev, funnily enough, I've never been able to fit in the Cerb correctly. I have to slump down & have my seat too far back!

Drove the Cerb back from PPC today after it's final service, with a small tear in my eye, I'm sure gonna miss it!

It's hopefully going to Toni ( spongy on the Cerb forum ) who hails from Devon.

He seems really keen & I'm sure the car will be around.

You'll certainly be seeing me at the usual events, Chatsworth & Car Club Track Days, I'm still TVR at heart!

Shouldn't be a prob. I'm 6' and have no issues in my Elise with hardtop on + helmet.

Like any quirky british sportscar, you soon develop a technique for getting in/out. It only seems to work on the driver's side for me though smile

So when's your first track day with it smile

Cheers for the posts.

Not picked it up yet, but I plan to get straight on track with it, probably Donington in March.

I plan to get some proper Lotus tuition though as well at some stage, any recommendations??

Car limits.

Highly thought of in Lotus circles.

Depends if your height is mostly in your legs or torso.

I'm 6'2" with a 33" inseam. Needed the ragtop off my Elise with a lid on, and that was after modifying the seat subframe...

Depends if it's an S1 or S2 Exige. You can see things are a little tight in the S1 Elise above but you'll be fine in an S2.

A really good, fairly inexpensive mod for an Elise is a removable steering wheel, makes it really easy to get in and out.
