Only an mx5, why?
Just wondered about the weight!t does wear tyres there on heavy cars, and a few stones around but as you are out by yourself ver little chance of stone chips IMHO
And nothing wring with mx5s, we've got 8 of them here at www,Shimmyracing.com
Surface is OK....very bumpy though

Its a good course, I did the same one two years ago.
Surface is OK, same a style as Brunters. typical tarmac with changes and repair patchwork. IIRC they recommend you inflate your tyes. I was running +10psi on top of my normal tyre pressures (35/38psi R&F) so bringing it up to a 45/48.

I'm doing my first sprint here on April 3rd. Is it really that bumpy? I'm thinking I might need to soften up the suspension? Does the same track lay-out get used every time?
Any help / advice greatly received. Apology to the OP for blatant hijack of thread. Any pics of your MX5?
Its always basicly the same layout but each club set the cones slightly differently and occasionally an extra bit has been added beyond the "roundabout". The first chicane is a bit bumpy but then the run up to, and back from, the roundabout is relatively new tarmac and smooth. The up and down bits though are bumpy and my race car cannot cope with them although single seaters do seem to cope, somehow. A fun track though, make sure you get there early and walk the track as its very featurless and picking out the cones with the sun in your eyes is not easy if you dont know where they are.Any help / advice greatly received. Looked for a map but dont have one but did this embarresment of a drawing! the straights are a lot straighter then they appear here:

Blue is the out run and red the return, you use the same bit of tarmac each way into and out of the roundabout.
