Had my first drive on track today on the new Snetterton 300. What a fantastic experience, I think I'm going to be spending a lot of money this year! The track has not only been extensively extended with a new, fairly tight infield section, but totally resurfaced. It was great to experience what my car was designed for, I've only had it a month, it's a noisy, rattly, bouncy thing on the road but here it was in it's element. Can't wait to go again and to anyone considering it, get on there and do it. Everybody was friendly and helpful and as an added bonus we saw Jonathan Palmer walking through the paddock afterwards, I went over to shake his hand and he took a few minutes to chat to me and my Dad, best £25 I ever spent and a day I'll remember for a long time. Thanks MSV and thanks Jonathan for investing in Norfolk, we'll be back to watch the BSBs and BTCC as usual and hopefully lots more track days.

Finally a massive thank you to my gorgeous girlfriend Alicja for telling me to stop just thinking about it and go and buy a track day car and do it!

Sounds like you had a good time then!

I'm just about to book my first trackday with MSV, a novice day at Bedford. I'm a bit nervous but providing I pass the noise test I'm sure it'll be a blast!

You should be ok with an Elise unless it's got some real trick exhaust.

A novice day is a great way to start. Listen to what's said and stay focussed. The days are normally in sessions which helps.

You'll have a blast!
