I've got my new motor, an Exige S2.

What's going to suit it best for getting my eye in on track? Tight & twisty Cadwell, or fast & flowing Donington?

Be interested to hear opinions.

Cadwell or Mallory would be very good fun and intense, also Rockingham would be pretty awesome for an Exige with many mid- high speed corners and deep braking zones suiting a lightweight car.

I'd say personal preferance and evaluate your driving style and choose a Circuit to match if it's your first TD with the car.......

First trackday? or first trackday in the Exige? doesn't matter. Same answer

Bedford by a mile.

You can really explore the cars limits... and if you get it wrong there is simply acres of space and nothing to hit.

Drove an Exige Sprint at Brands Indy for about a 40 min session, what a car, it ate up the laps and suits a challanging technical circuit.

I had huggggge spin in my ExigeS at Bedford last month on my very first lap out on its maiden track outing last month...

onto the pit straight at Bedford... I must have been around that corner well over a thousand times...

I felt a little better when 2 more Lotus Exiges span in same place on the next 2 laps! and no other cars did!?!?!?

I am blaming slippy track... not my lack of talent wink

Pics to get you excited. They are great little cars on track.

Funny as I didn't like my MK1 Elise there, I thought the track was too flowing for the car and my skills (possibly the latter;)).

Oulton park? A good mix of high speed corners where you really do get the benefit of a lightweight, fast car, and some slower stuff where the deft turn in of an exige would be of benefit

Druids in the wet might be an eye opener though!

Donny is a must for all cars, Cadwell would be great too but my favourite after Donny would be Anglesey.

Just made for a Lotus!!! Well worth a weekend trip!

Cheers for the input. I've heard really good reports on Anglesey Coastal. And Donny is on my doorstep. Must admit, from years of TVR track sessions, Cadwell is my fave! I always imagined it would be awesome in a Lotus.
