Not sure what I'll be driving as yet, but I'll come over and say hi if you're around. I'm a fan of Type Rs, I must say.

Think I saw a few of the above cars there. Overall a good day due to great weather but was anyone else disappointed with how busy it was? I thought they had sold too many places and felt a bit cheated when they had to turn the open pit day into sessions due to how long the wait was to get on track at times.

Here are a couple of shots of mine from the day.

I was there in my little green MX5 and also a mate with his Caterham.

Top day out, good weather. I agree though, it was a bit too busy, but then it was a Saturday.

Some nice older cars as well. I particularly liked the Scimitar and the Alfa Romeo Giulietta (which had a spectacular spin at the right-hander just after the pit lane!)

I really ought to pay more attention to this section banghead I was there with a load of other guys in mk1 clio's.
Thouroughly enjoyed it but I didn't think it was too busy, I only remembered queuing for more than 2 mins on a couple of occasions and that was when I was going for passenger rides.

Unfortunately I didn't get any pics of mine out on track but here's a few I've shamelessly stolen off my mates tongue out

I'm in the passenger seat here

I was there in the Silver Boxster S with two mates (Green Focus RS and Green Exige). I had a few issues with oil making its way into the breather and then belching out of the back under heavy low gear cornering... lots of guys were really helpful and reassuring saying its common and nothing to worry about.. boxster/caymans should be tracked with the oil half way up the dipstick to avoid this apparently. Googled the problem, they were right... very common, not an issue.

Clio valver boys take the award for best engine note on full chat down the pit lane straight, the black R8 came a close second ;0)

I also felt that the day was oversold, I have done Bedford a few times now with "circuit days" and there must have been 30% more cars than usual. Lesson learned, stick with circuit days. Still a good day though!

haha they do sound great. Only thing I have heard that sounds similar is a Civic type R with a Typhoon induction kit.
