Had a great day at Oulton yesterday. Some pics below. Chap bent his GT3RS on one of the chicanes (not sure which, was off track at the time) and I understand broke his arm when the airbags went off, hope he's ok. Same goes out to the lads who bent the Carrera 911 just before Shell right in front of me. Dunno if they are PHers but nice to meet the lads in the 911 Turbos too, good bunch.

Hats off to Oulton Park and Circuit Days, great track, very well organised and helped by great weather.

5am start...

on track...

Me and my brother-in-law were there in the Bookatrack caterham. Had one of the best days on track so far. The chap who crashed the GT3 was called Andre. We met him early on in the day and we were gutted to hear what happened. Hope he's ok. As Leg says well done circuit days really enjoyable day!

I was there trying out the supercharger conversion that I've just completed on my Westfield, lost boost after lunch but all fixable and looking forward to the next outing.

All in all a good day out cool

I was there in my Caterham R400 together with a bunch of friends in various Caterhams, Westfield and the black Radical. Great day - excellent weather, well run by circuit days and I thought the standard of driving was generally better than average. If Carlsberg did track days, this is what they'd do.

The GT3 RS that crashed, was that the Andre who has a YouTube vid of him in the wet at the 'Ring? Anyone know what happened? You don't see many bad knocks at the chicanes at Oulton.

Ade, do you ever do any work mate? How many TD's? ;-)

Jack, the car in question was a black 6.1 GT3 comfort that span into the tyre wall on the rise after Hislops chicane.. as i went past i could see the guy out of the car but in some distress as the side airbag had broke his arm.. as for the car, full new o/s needed...

How did get on with the noisy car then mate?...

Did you mention work?.... how you fixed for Silverstone on Friday?

Ah ps off Ade! I'll be shackled to my desk as usual!

The noisy car was mega. At least now I am 100% sure I have done the right thing. Just going to be a painful summer waiting it out and hoping the right car comes up at the end of the year.

When someone said the guy was called Andre I thought they meant this bloke:
