Slim chance I know but am free this weekend if anything within a few hours of the London area?

If anyone knows of any with spaces please let me know.

996T with standard exhaust so should be no noise restriction problems!

Thanks for the link Porkie.

I have been on to Kerry so am just seeing if I can locate my old helmet & absorb the insurance risk factor!!

Apparently if I am hit by someone & they do not have cover I am on my own.!!

What is the general feel on this?

Is it just a " risk of the sport" that trackdayers take?

Looks good though.

Even if they HAVE cover and hit you, you are still on your own. Trackday cover only extends to your own car. And even then there is usually an excess of 10% of the value of your car. Saying that car to car contact is rare on trackdays.

If they have cover it will only be for them. There is no such thing as "fault" on a trackday. Any damage that happens to your car, for whatever reason at all, the cost is down to you.

Ok so if my car gets damaged through my own error or being hit by another then my trackday insurance would cover in line with the policy limits etc etc?

Off to get my helmet!

Yes, with your own insurance you're covered for accidental damage, however it's caused. Enjoy your day, Rockingham can be great fun. And if you fancy a day at Donington in July, check out the Bookatrack website for a day I've helped organize wink
