Super car sales.
Discussion
The OH fancies a change in career. She is 22 and most would describe her as attractive, has been working as a carer after studying health and social care and holds a relief management position at a local care home for the elderly (some with dementia). She has always been into cars and actually completed Level 1 motor mechanics at college, before deciding she wanted to go into property development and completed a multi-trades construction course.
I've suggested being a sales rep for a company like HR Owen or such-like, but she is un-enthusiastic about it as she thinks she will be laughed at as she isn't 'qualified' for it. She has previous retail experience, and im sure its your attitude and selling ability they are looking for.
Could anyone advise her on what sort of qualifications you would need, and what sort of salary would she be looking at.
Thanks in advance.

1. If she is attractive you could lose her as she would be dealing with footballers buying ferrari's every day of her life so they'd ask her out before long so not sure why you are pushing her down this route
2. most people from what i have seen like an older guy say in his fifties showing you around.
3. she has no sales experience so she'd need to go from ford to audi to porsche to HR Owen i'd have thought
this is pure guesswork on my behalf though!

Hmm
On the downside she will be getting banged silly by footballers and rich guys every other night.
On the plus side I might get to play in a Ferrari at some point.
Off you go love, good luck with the interview.

Yesterday's Telegraph had a huge ad for Porsche recruiting
They won't consider someone unless they've had a few years selling a premium brand, BMW, Merc etc.Porsche is such a hard brand to make money in. You might get a job there but good luck making the big bucks. The hard thing is that Porsche is a low volume sales brand and most customers are repeats. They will already be in the system and will "belong" to another salesmen already. Also Porsche owners are big on car clubs so a lot of leads and business are done there. Everyone knows everyone at these things so the chance of you getting a random walk in are very hard.
