Employment lawyer needed, maybe!

Evening all,

Small issue with a company I am working with which means I suspect I am going to be somewhat out of pocket on some unpaid salary. Its kind of complicated and the total claim, if I have to make it, would be under £5k I suspect. The company may not have the funds, the Directors and investors do without any doubt.

Would anyone here who understands the legals mind having a quick phone chat? Also, can one do such things on contingency and can one use the small claims court for such things. If not, I suspect I will have to instruct someone and hit the company for costs as well.

Don't actually want to go this route and I hope it can be resolved peacefully but either way, I want what is owed and to move on, so while I would rather not have to get all aggressive with them, I will do so very rapidly if need be,

Sorry for the fairly short post but I am somewhat miffed right now and if I go into depth, it will bore you lot and turn into a massive rant!
