taking G.C.S.E's in november.

Hi all 
guess this is the best place for this. Just a quick question can you take G.C.S.E's in november (Retakes) without taking G.C.S.E's that year. I asked the local college and they were as useful as a grave robber in a crematorium. I tried google no luck.

Check here. It's not the same across the UK nor in every region as it depends upon the examining body and also the school as to whether they'll allow you to book. Unless you are doing Maths or English, you may have to wait until next summer.
I'm suprised you were not able to get the answers you were looking for. My advice would be to ring up a number of local schools and simply ask to be booked in to the exam as a private individual and see what they say. It's not a unique situation so you should be able to find someone to help. Good luck.
