Experienced Financial Controller required for a dynamic Marketing Communications Agency to take responsibility for the management of the financial aspects of the business, to drive profitability and assist in future growth and development plans.
Agency experience and working with job costing system such as Paprika or similar are essential for application.
The role will entail maintaining good financial controls, reporting to directors and MDs on all financial affairs, maintaining billing and job costing accounting software systems, WIP management, tax and VAT systems, managing accurate pay and PAYE systems, liaising with accountants to ensure accurate year end sign off.
ACA or ACCA or CIMA qualification required, must be a team player, ambitious and have an interest in marketing communications. Competitive benefits relating to holiday and bonus scheme.

£40,000 - £45,000 basic plus benefits & bonus.

Must have experience using Paprika

Must have experience working within an agency

Must be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified

Most Financial Controllers in London are earning at least £20K more and frequently double than your advertised salary. I work in the asset management business and our management accountants earn more than that, I appreciate the job is not in financial services but the salary is very much on the low side for the level of responsibility.

Being CIMA qualified. I would balk at that salary in central London.

Being in Central Glasgow most FC's was baulk at that salary, nevermind London.

Erm, sorry to echo but I'm qualified AAT (not as good as Chartered) and studying CIMA working as a management accountant in a large charity in London and earn about that...

appreciate cash may be tight, but pay peanuts get monkeys springs to mind! Not always a saving in the long run.
