Job for a 16 year old?

It's time that I got a job, I got my CV done and I really have no idea where to start looking, I live in Maidstone in the South East, any ideas? I will literally do any job going

Print out a stload of CVs, walk into town and ask about jobs in every shop/cafe/pub/supermarket/etc

If they say yes, give them a CV. If they say no, give them a CV anyway.

Argos will want loads of Christmas Temps, so go in there and ask for an application form. Also look on the sainsburys, tescos, asda, morrisons, websites, as well as waitrose, and look on www.reed.co.uk. Also plenty of clothes shops too, or try and find a newsagents near you, see if they need a weekend assistant or something.n Im 16 and looking for a job too, and these are the kinds of things ive been doing too.

Actually, as i got an email from them this morning asking me to work, try Michael Wisher. Fill in the form and they will probably contact you at some point. They mainly do events, so you would be plate waiting. I worked for one week at The Golf Open with them, and they send out a couple of emails a week, asking people to work, such as, this week, ive been asked to work at The Ascot, and for Jamie Olivers team. Not sure if i can do those jobs though.

As for House Of Fraser, just walk up to the Customer Service Desk, and hand it in

Best thing I ever did was my lifeguard qualification. Ponced the £150 off the old man and done it.

Payed him back after a week. I used to earn £8 per hour!!! Did that until I was 18 and got a FT job.

Hours that you could pick (within reason) better than the usual working in a shop.

Just working in a shop/garage really, nothing special

I did it from being 16-19 (whilst at college and full time in the holidays). You'll make loads of friends, a decent wage, and they're always full of fanny.

They are already hiring. Go into a store and ask for an application.

I had to get some extra hours for a bit more money so I am now working argos as a second job. They aint that bad.

probably going down there tomorrow. I'm going to a Sports Direct Recruitment day tomorrow.

Agree about Argos, my brother started as a Christmas temp and is now a weekend team leader.
