I was told to always be concerned about places that offer dinner - it's because you're expected to be there late into the evening! And the other benefits are largely because these organisations expect you to give you life to them (at least Mon-Fri).

What the charts don't mention is the fabulous stock (sometimes options, sometimes actual shares) benefits that get issued by many American hi-tech companies. Time it right, or drop lucky, and anyone could become a multi-millionaire. The standard of living of people who work for these companies is just in a completely different universe to similar employees in the UK.

To be fair alot of those benefits are similar to ones I get, gym membership, pool table, ping pong, wii and xbox, private room massage (not dodgy type laugh ), discounts in many shops, chocolate, snacks, days out and "fun money", chill out room etc etc.
But I know a few other companies that offer similar too.
The only thing they have that I would love is the gourmet chef, that's a good one biggrin

also get free shares in company biggrin

I saw a job advert recently that listed amongst the benefits "the latest iPhone", "monthly allowance for flowers(!), gym membership and Ubercab (Google it), "you pick your setup (computer/monitor/etc)" and "vacation, take it when you need it, no defined schedule".

Obviously an US tech start-up.

I've recently been talking to a start-up in the valley who doesn't have a system for annual leave/holiday.
