Replacement P60

How do I get hold of a replacement P60, HMRC say ask your employer, employer says ask HMRC!!
Your company can do it, they can be downloaded from HMRC's website, provided of course they have been submitted in the last few years and online. I don't think they are obliged to keep copies so if they won't do it you probably won't be able to force them.Otherwise you can ask the employer for a "statement of earnings" which should suffice for HRMC purposes, and failing that your final payslip of the year should match.
Oner of the problems with generating a replacement P60 is that the employer's PAYE system for the relevant tax year will probably have been shut down as part of the process of moving balalnces and data forward to the new tax year. That is why it is so difficult for an employer to go back into the old tax year to run off one P60 lost due to an employee's sloppiness.
Most won't do it as it is far too complex a task.

Just get your employer to type up a quick document on Company headed paper. Paye Ref Number
Paye Office Ref Number
Your Payroll Number
Name
NI Number
Address
Gross Pay
Tax Paid
