Anyone own a car dealership in the Worthing area?

Hi guys,

I am after a car dealership or garage in the Worthing area that will take on my 17 year old lad for some work experience.

He is currently at shoreham college doing a motor mechanics course and is doing really well. He has some free days during the week and it would be ideal if he could get some work experience in a proper garage to help him get a job in the future.

He can already change breakes, exhausts and suspension and would be a good free helper...!

Again it is just work experience so he would not want paying...I would do that he just wants the experience.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Might also be worth asking around at some marine engineers. We have a work experience lad with us at the moment. He gets to help build new boats, service engines, launch and trial boats etc. I know motor mechanics is different to marine engineering, but servicing and stripping marine engines will be similar and he'll pick up a few new skills, working wih fibreglass etc.

Have you tried Woods on Upper Shoreham Road? I know they do their own work as I pass their garage on the train.

They always have some nice cars parked outside and seem to have a reasonable turn over of stock.
