LFW – confident person who speaks Chinese & English

Hi, my fiancée is currently looking for work so I thought I’d post something on PistonHeads to see if anyone could use her skills. She is Chinese and speaks Mandarin but is also fluent in English, having learnt to speak the language several years before coming over here. Back home in China she was a trained nurse so has a medical background but wants to diversify out of that and into something else. She has experience of dealing with suppliers in China and started to import and sell women’s clothing but this is only a hobby for now.

If anyone needs someone to act as a buyer and deal with China then let me know and I can put you in touch. She is also willing to provide a translation service if you have any requirements for that or general administration work. Based in the South Bucks area but willing to travel for the right job, she is available for short or ideally a long term position.

From personal experience, she'd do well in a Relocation Company, either a dedicated company providing services to multi national big clients, or in a big company that has a dedicated team for this.

All the big companies are expanding into China, an English/Chinese speaker with a bit of nuance will be very desirable.

Also, rather bizarrely, I have seen adverts for foreign speaking workers in car dealerships. Whether that's to sell to expat Chinese, I have no idea.....
