WTD: Desktop support roles

Hi all,

I'm looking for a desktop support tech and a desktop support team lead to expand our internal IT team. Desktop support role supports Windows, Office, laptop/desktop builds, desk moves, daily backups etc. Desktop support team lead has a small number of techs, and is responsible for ordering of new kit, managing the ticket queue, tracking and renewing maintenance contracts, supplier escalations and some hands-on also.

Roles are based near Holborn in London with occasional visits to a small office in Docklands and one in Warrington. Salary at market rate commensurate with experience.

No job specs yet, sorry - wanted to give PH-ers the first crack at it.

Thanks to those that replied. The role is on hold for the moment as we're restructuring that team over the next couple of weeks - I'll post here when it's open again.

One word of advice though - just because a job is posted here doesn't mean that you should be too casual with spelling and grammar in your replies to adverts. Emailing me with text-speak doesn't help to sell your abilities and attention to detail!

I've found even CVs and covering letters that have come through an agency are sometimes no better. Peoples inability to write a good CV still astounds me.
