I am needing some advice.

I'm a time served bricklayer and came off the tools back in 2007 (started in 1997)and into a managerial role. In 2006 i enrolled on a Project Management degree to anable me to get my management CSCS card. I done this over 4 years whilst also working full time. During this time i also completed the SMSTS, FPA and first aid at work course only for the fking CSCS people to change the whole thing about in 2009 which meant that the degree i obtained was no longer recognised. This pissed me off slightly to say the least, even more so when i found out that all i have to have now is an NVQ which only takes a year instead of the 4 year degree i done and will set me back another £2000+!

So my questions are are there any other ways of obtaining the black card without actually doing an NVQ i.e having an assesor come to site? At the moment my qualifications only allow me either a bricklayers card or a graduate card, neither of which is the one i need.

Thanks
Mat
