Driving Instructors

As I scratch my head trying to think of a new career, I wondered what twenty years as an advanced Police driver would qualify me to do. I've now been thinking about driving instructor courses. Ive looked at the usual suspects (AA, Red etc) and they seem to revolve around franchise work.

I tried an online chat with the AA, but when I asked about what, if any advantage my Police driving experience would give, I just got a 'dunno'.

Any instructors around who can give advice on courses, prospects etc.

Not difficult to get in to, but you may be chasing the lowest cost if your prefered area is saturated. Remember, if it's easy to get in to then profits are usually correspondingly low. Aim to provide what is scarce to improve prospects; can you identify a niche?
