Trade Plate vacancies - Midlands/North West
Discussion
I run a trade plate transport company based in the Midlands and we have 3 vacancies for Trade Plate drivers collecting and delivering cars in the Midlands/North West and Countrywide.
Details of our company can be found here
www.CEVL.co.uk
Previous trade plating experience not essential but always a plus!
Must be over 30 with no more than 6 points and no D&D.
Must have off-road parking.
Must have a touch screen android based phone or iPhone (as collections are undertaken electronically).
Must be smart and reliable.
Full contact details can be found on our website.
many thanks
Alistair Cox

thanks for the email and interest. Have replied to you.
Just to add, whilst our work is Nationwide, many of our customers are Midlands (Birmingham-Stafford) and North West (Liverpool/Manchester/Stoke) and due to additional mileages and fuel costs involved, it is imperative that any drivers live in these areas.

Hello Alistair
I do fit your criteria in the above post and like last time I am still based Blackpool Lancashire.
On the previous occasion you stated that I am just outside you ideal catchment area.
Is that still the case with these positions?
Thanks John
Sadly John, it is out of our catchment area as we cover Liverpool/Manchester and South for the NW area and all of North Wales.I do fit your criteria in the above post and like last time I am still based Blackpool Lancashire.

Thanks for your very insightful knowledge of the industry, and your wonderful use of the English language.I started with 6 drivers, 7 years ago. 5 of them are still with me today, the 6th can no longer drive due to a hip replacement.
There are times when it is quiet, but compared to the most self employed labourers, drivers will find them selves with work more than most others.
And no, for they record they are not all of a muchness. Do your research first before spouting 'crap'!

Uniloads drivers have been known to sleep 4 up in a car overnight.
My drivers go home at night, and on the odd occasion they do have to stop out, I put them up in a B&B or hotel.

Hi Tim,
I have got your email today.
Yesterday was a bit hectic to be fair. Spent most of the morning and early afternoon with a fellow forum member re: work, then spent the rest of the day with my wife in A&E with a broken arm!
I will call you on Monday to arrange a meeting later in the week.
