Min wage after tax?

Quick question - what would the min wage be per hour if someone (age 27) was employed for only 20 hours per week (6 days)?

Any help would be really appreciated!

£123.80... no tax if they are on a normal code. £6.19/hrs

Wow. That's all news to me! Thank you. I thought there'd be deductions somewhere along the line, didn't realise the entire £6.19/hour went to the employee!

It does on those hours.
In simplistic terms you get a certain amount of "free pay" before you start paying tax or NI. I think it is around £150 but the figure goes up each year.

AND they still get to claim for certain benefits that they're on?? That is mental (in my opinion).

you think its mental that someone earning 123 quid a week is able to claim some benefits like to see you pay your rent council tax food and living expenses if you earned that much
