Can I just check that if I left employment during a tax year I would receive a P45 on leaving, but I would not receive a P60 at the end of the tax year?
I'm pretty sure that's right, but want to check as I've been asked to produce P60s for the last two years and can't get the HMRC PAYE Tools to do a P60 for this year. (I ran the payroll for my previous employer and from my own PC, so have access to the database still. I'm not making the document up any more than I made it up when I was employed.)
