When does redundancy start being redundancy?

An odd one. I started working at a company in September. About three weeks in, it was announced that by the end of 2014 all office functions for EMEA would be moved to Ireland. Obviously that means that by the end of 2014 there will no longer be a job for me, but does that mean that I have been given notice of redundancy?
