Help a friend looking for IT related work

A good friend has asked for some help in finding his wife work.

She is looking for paid or unpaid work and has a valid work permit to work in the UK. She has completed a B.E in Computer Science and Engineering and also completed Diploma in Computer Engineering in India and is now living in the UK.

Particular skills are:
-C,C++,C#,VB.NET,CSS,JavaScript
-SQL2005,2008,MS-Access,Excel
-Software Testing with Manual and Automation
-Windows7,Windows 8,Vista,
-Networking Concepts,TCP/IP.

She is currently based in Swindon, but i guess with this sort of skill set, can work remotely.
Any help finding her a position would be appreciated as she wants work experience in the UK.

Thats a wide ranging skill set, from programming to databases - does she have a particular specialism?

If she is good at all of that, then getting a job will not be a problem - as above, put her CV on Jobserve etc

I'd imagine Swindon would be close enough to the M4 corridor companies who have lots of IT positions for it to be picked up.

I would also consider HE Institutes. I find that they focus more on the recent qualifications ( good for her) than the wealth of experience that others sectors focus on.

She should be prepare to commute/move to junction 12 and eastwards for a good job, although Swindon and Bristol would also provide a few roles.
