This isn't a moan particularly, I just wanted to know if anyone has joined them recently and how they've fared?

Got an offer from them but a friend warned me that it could be a difficult environment to adapt to. As it's such a big company is it possible to move departments if it doesn't work out?

Any experience or advice would be really welcome.

I've worked for them for nearly 5 years, I would say the environment would dependant on the team/ department you'd be in, and it can vary a bit, plus it is what works best for you.

Moving departments is possible, I've done it.  It would depend on what you do and there being a suitable job available.

First job I had with them disappeared in a re-org after 8 months, I knew this when I joined.  The second one didn't work out and three months later I had a different job in a different department.  Nearly four years later I'm still in it, I enjoy it, but the only downside is the four hour commute a day to & from London.

No direct experience but my sister's been with them for about 6 months and loves it. She's based in their massive new office in MK. I'm not sure her exact function, something to do with simulating/analysing future projects (currently X-rail).

Happy to put you in touch if you pm me.

They are not very hygienic, I'll say that much as we share a toilet block with them, filthy beasts!
