I worked part time over Christmas and did around 40 hours of work which should get me £250ish. It was at a well known supermarket. This was as well as my full time job. I only did it to put money towards an upcoming holiday. So far I've been paid twice, amounting to around £80. I kept a record of all my hours. Despite asking numerous times I did not receive a clock in card. The company are being difficult and unresponsive getting back to me. Every time I call or go in the right person "isn't there". Rather frustrated now. Not sure what to do next. I fear threatening legal action against such a large company will not bother them in the slightest. It's not so much the money, it's the fact that I gave up a lot of my free time for naff all.
Any advice welcome.

Send them a letter to special delivery giving them a deadline to pay you by, and make it clear if they don't pay you will take them to an employment tribunal....

Thanks icetea, and yes I've attempted to contact them. I'm going down again Saturday. Failing progress from then I guess further action will be required.
