Hi all

We are currently looking for a 'office person', it's a bit of a jack of all trades role covering both sales and enquiries, answering phones etc. As a business we supply bathroom equipment to contractors and developers, we do not have a trade counter. The sales is not targetted as it is purely driven by demand from buiding sites. An outline of the role is something like this:

Office Vacancy

The Role:

Working in a busy sales office in Bury St Edmunds you will be responsible for answering sales and enquiry calls from customers and developers and processing orders on our ‘in-house’ computer system. A solid working knowledge of the Microsoft Office package would also be advantageous as from time to time you will be required to assist with visual representations to customers. This will not be face to face but will be in the form of a mood board that would be emailed to the customer with a quote.

The Person:

The ability to ‘hit the ground running’ from someone who has worked in this industry before would be a positive but more importantly is a person who can work accurately and methodically under pressure and is willing to learn.
Sense of humour is a must!

Hours of work will be 8am – 5pm Monday to Friday, there will be no requirement to work at a weekend. Salary - dependant on experience paid monthly by BACS

In a nutshell, although experience would be great, I'd much rather have someone who is willing to learn and has a decent work ethic. Although I will be tasked with doing the sift on CV's and probably the interviews the final decision will probably be taken out of my hands but I'll certainly have an input. If anyone is interested or knows of anyone who may be interested then give me a shout and I can give more info.

Cheers

Si

Should be plenty of Forces wives with those abilities based at RAF Honington. Might be worth advertising there.

I think the Regt in general can be a pretty small world but yeah I know Mick although haven't spoken to him in a while and Rod seems to be doing very well for himself. I'm sure our paths have probably crossed at some point or other and we likely have more than a few mutual muckers!

As a petrol head you may have noticed a Lotus Carlton at Honington at some point, that was mine (before a messy divorce etc lol).
