Internal interview examples involving other candidates
Discussion
Never trash talk co-workers in an interview. Never say anything that could be considered trash talking in an interview.
It depends on who is doing the interviewing really. If your boss that promoted you in the first place is involved you are on good ground - assuming you didn't f
k it up, they'll be desperate to be proved correct in their action. If it's someone else you'll likely find the cards stacked against you, both during the interview and afterwards when someone else who you used to manage is managing you. That's not a good position to be in.

I was hoping to use examples where I obscure who it is I am talking about, remain upbeat and focus on the good work I've done. To be honest, they've been very good until the interviews were scheduled. Managing upwards has been substantially harder. It almost been like a clandestine role.
