We need a structural engineer to do some calculations for a beam to replace a structural wall in a house that we are buying. Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations from past experience?

All my cals are done by Ian Holdgate, The Old Barn, 23 Park Road, Bingley,
01274-566696, Recommended. remember that qualified structural engineers
with office / staff / insurance do not come in on PH rates!!!.

Thanks will check him out. I was hoping it would be no more than a couple of hundred pounds max.

Anyone else have any recommendations?

Give Steve Bell a call, lives over in Pudsey. Ex colleague and friend who does all my calcs.

Qualified, Chartered Structural Engineer with PI insurance and your budget will be fine wink
