Redundency, what am I entitled to.
Discussion
As title, I have worked for a company for three years and have been made redundent, what am I entitled to.
I think I get 3 weeks wages plus one and a half weeks for every year ( I'm 42 ) so if I earn 100 pounds per week I get 750, would that be right? I'm not saying the firm will do me out of any money but my boss said I'd get the equivalent of 2 weeks pay, which is way off what I worked out, is this right? I need an answer quick on this because if he is right I won't stay till the end as one of the jobs I'm looking at need an immediate start.
