Interview advice needed

Hi,

I am going for an interview tomorrow and could do with some advice on what sort of questions I am going to be asked as I haven't been for a job interview for 5-6 years, the job is "Sales Negotiator" at an Estate Agents, I have never worked for an estate agents before so any advice on what it would be like (they are a very large company) would be appreciated.

I'd expect something along the lines of

- So tell me about your sales experience
- What qualifies you for this job
- How would you handle multiple problems coming at you at once
- What's your experience of dealing with the public

Above everything, they'll probably want you to have a good strong close. Something along the lines of 'do you think I can do the job' is direct enough and you'll find the answer out fairly quickly. If they smile when you've said that then you know you're doing OK

(ETa - also, anything you've had before that's based on targets would be good to take in as proof)

I'd suggest reading the job description (ask them for it if you don't have it) and making a note of all of the different tasks that they want you to do, and the skills that they expect you to have. Then think of examples of when you've done similar thing / demonstrated similar skills in the past.

Ask them what type of interview it will be. If it's capability based, ask what capabilities will be tested - then think of examples as before

It is a Group interview, never been to one of those, but will prepare as if it is one on one, thanks for the advice!

In which case you'll probably end up role playing about being in a hot air balloon, there's 7 of you and 6 parachutes, so you have to pick a character and argue why you should have one of the chutes. The one and only time this happened to me I said I was Jesus and blessed them all before bowing out (then left the room and never returned)

And are you actually Jesus?
