23 -27k Basic plus Commission in small wholesalers in EN11

You will be based at our office in Hoddesdon working mainly at the office with opportunities to visit key accounts where necessary. So what will I be doing?

The role of Sales Team Leader is to actively support, lead and develop the sales team (8 people & growing) through the use of feedback, coaching, training and other development activities. You will lead the team to deliver excellent customer satisfaction, and ensure financial success of the business by effectively increasing sales. You will also work closely with the team and operational groups in order to ensure the delivery and implementation of all client & company requirements. You will report to the director & work closely together to move the business forward. No product knowledge is needed and can be learnt within the post.

Duties will include:

Account manage key accounts and prospect new business opportunities.
Ensure appropriate levels of team knowledge exist for the sales teams & prepare training plans to fill gaps.
Be responsible for ensuring appropriate resource levels exist within the sales teams to maximise customer satisfaction
Conduct weekly team meetings to set goals & objectives & measure performance against targets along with daily energisers.
Maximise team morale and motivation
Performance management, high potential staff development, staff retention and ensure training plans exist
Provide leadership and guidance to wider sales team; take commercial sales and margin decisions
Be senior representative with customers and wider business for escalation of issues
Analyse and forecast current and future sales and margin levels; take action where appropriate
Produce and publish regular metrics to measure team success against objectives; weekly measurement of customer & sales activity within each local market
Help develop commission structures to maximise the sales team potential.
Candidates should possess the following skills/attributes:

Previous sales experience and supervising a team within a telesales environment is essential
Excellent communication and influencing skills
Energetic and enthusiastic, with the ability to motivate and inspire
Able to build relationships with and influence across the business
Ability to work under pressure without losing sight of priorities
Ability to multi-task, and work on own initiative making informed decisions within area of responsibility
High levels of self-motivation
Ability to remain calm and retain control when faced with difficulty
Experience of consistently achieving KPI’s and Company standards

And why the CRB / disclosure, you do not say that the job is covered by FSA rules or that unsupervised contact with children is part of the job.
